The Declaration of Chairman

I choose not to be an ordinary person. I seek opportunity, not security. I do not wish to be a protected citizen, cared for by the state, living a humble and dull life. I choose to take calculated risks, to dream and to build, to fail and to succeed. What I inherit is the spirit to stand unyielding, proud, and fearless, to think and act independently, to immerse myself in the benefits of what I create, and to face the world with courage.

Certification and Achievement

ISPO (Indonesian Sustainable Palm Oil)

ISPO (Indonesian Sustainable Palm Oil) is a mandatory certification established by the Indonesian government for the palm oil industry to ensure sustainable and environmentally friendly plantation practices. This certification aims to enhance the competitiveness of Indonesian palm oil in the global market, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and protect environmental and social sustainability. Graha Inti Jaya began the ISPO certification process in 2014 and obtained its first ISPO certificate in 2019, which was renewed in 2024.

PROPER (Corporate Performance Rating Program in Environmental Management)

PROPER stands for the Corporate Performance Rating Program in Environmental Management. It is a performance evaluation program managed by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK) to encourage companies to comply more strictly with environmental regulations. PROPER uses a rating-based system (Gold, Green, Blue, Red, Black ratings) to monitor and improve corporate performance in environmental management. Graha Inti Jaya achieved PROPER Blue rating for the 2023/2024 period in the aspects of water, air, waste, and peatland management.

HCV HCS (High Conservation Value High Carbon Stock)

Graha Inti Jaya has implemented this policy since 2023. The implementation continues to be strengthened in 2024, with a High Conservation Value and High Carbon Stock (HCV-HCS) assessment conducted by a Certified ALS as part of the commitment to ensure that future development of Graha Inti Jaya’s areas does not occur in forested or peatland areas. The HCV-HCS assessment will be reviewed for eligibility by the HCV Network to ensure quality and standardization in line with globally recognized conservation and carbon stock principles.
